Workin It

Happy Monday everyone! In honor of the new work week, here's a peak at my office wear for today. I'm constantly walking the line when it comes to staying within the
business casual confines. I work in the legal field, so I must always keep my look professional, but that doesn't have to mean drab black suits everyday. And thankfully, my office is on the lenient side of business casual.  Today I went with a pencil leg dress pant, which gives structure as opposed to the wide-leg dress pant, and also shows off your fabulous platforms. I try to pick blouses with a pop of color, and opted for a uniquely-cut jacket over the traditional blazer. You can also spice up your workwear with a fabulous tote, and I choose to top it off with the ever spunky top-knot. My go-to stores for affordable work clothing are H&M, Nordstrom Rack, and Zara. I never fail to find trendy blouses or the perfect blazer at law student friendly prices in these stores.
