Airport to Holiday Dinner

For most holidays, I end up traveling the day of; ie., on Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. so I need an outfit that will be both airport and holiday dinner-friendly. For Thankgiving, I opted for a coral lace
mini shift dress. With it's long sleeves and loose-fitting frame, it's comfortable enough to travel in, but the lace detail and mini-dress cut make it fancy enough for holiday dinner as well. I paired the shift with black tights, and my extra-large MK tote to store all of my necessities. I traveled with my most comfortable flat cowboy boots and a casual sweater, and traded those out for platform booties for a dressier look at dinner. If you're wondering why I'm in front of a run-down diner, and why I look so ridiculously excited, it's because I'm at the one and only Val's in northern California. Can't make a trip to the Bay Area without getting *hands down* the best burger in the country. Mmm...let the holidays begin :)
